Better late than never?!?

How's this for on the ball...Wyatt decided that he was too old to dress up for Halloween so he had himself a little movie gathering with friends instead, but Mallori went all out. She is quite scary.

Well, I am my my Mother's son and we both SUCK at this blogging thing! Everybody has been just so busy with school, sports and every other thing we can think of! So that's why it is so far behind!

Swimming!!!

Mallori started swimming again about a week ago and I actually just started today! My legs are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo SORE!!!!

Blood Brothers Cast List

Hello. Its me again. I just checked my email and the cast list for BLOOD BROTHERS was in my inbox! I checked it and... unfortunately, I didnt make it into the play. Oh well, I can try again next year.

Hey Everybody! Wyatt here and I just wanted to inform you about what has happened all this week. On Monday, I auditioned for the school play BLOOD BROTHERS and I had callbacks on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday. I'd say that that's good if you ask me! And I actually find out if I made the play tomorrow afternoon when the cast list is emailed to me. I WILL TELL ALL OF YOU IF I MAKE THE PLAY!!! I am sooooooooooooooooooooo EXCITED!!!!!! :)

In the Park

Mallori and I were at the park a couple of days ago climbing around and having fun. I have been experimenting with different features of Windows Movie Maker (a video editing software) and this is what I came up with. Enjoy!

New Blog Manager

Hey everybody!!! This is Wyatt and I'm gonna be in charge of this blog site my mom is just "too busy." My mom has been in school now for almost a whole year! She officially starts year two on October first.
Anyway, I got a new camera for my Birthday this summer and I have been using it constantly.I have been taking a whole bunch of pictures and videos of myself, my friends, and of my family. I'm going to share them with you!

Wow

I clearly suck at this blogging business, its been 2 months since my last post. I'm afraid I will never catch up. I'm thinking about turning it over to the kids and see how they do. We have been keeping busy as usual and the kids are looking forward to summer right around the corner. They have a few activities planned, but nothing too extravagant. Mallori has joined the swim team for the summer, the coach figures Todd or I must have been swimmers in a previous life because they both have natural abilities. I do have a few photos to upload, but no time now. The
High School team finally held their awards banquet after having been rescheduled. Wyatt was the talk of the night and received "Most Improved Rookie" for diving this year and also lettered. We are holding off on the jacket for now hoping and praying that he might grow some day. The highlight in my days was winning tickets for the Bon Jovi concert, the seats weren't the greatest but I did get to do the side stage experience for 3 songs, it was very cool. He was only 3 feet away. I have pictures from that also to load. I will save the rest till I can get some pics going.

Its Cookie Time

I know Mallori has already called quite a few people to boost her sales this year, anyone else interested in cookies feel free to call or email her. All boxes are $4 each. Sales are open until the 14th of March, with expected delivery of April 15th.

Y-Ball

Mallori has started playing basketball through the YMCA, she is very excited to be the point guard for the team. Her first practice was a bit rough, she came home all upset because the whole team counts on her and if she messes up the whole play is ruined. As if she was playing on a professional team.

Green!?!

As you can see Wyatt has changed a bit in the last couple of weeks. As if the braces weren't enough of a change for him a few days later his hair was green. It matched his shirt perfectly. The hair was a team thing they do to get ready for sections, and Wyatt actually faired well that night. One kid did the reverse mohawk, with the centerline shaved...oh my gosh, it was so ugly. His mom was very proud to take him to church looking like that. I will post a few more pics in the coming days. Wyatt did go to sections last weekend and did very well. He placed 14th. The top four are in Minneapolis now competing for state titles. Our team sent one diver, Micheal, he is awsome.

Mallori

Mallori has been an active supporter of Wyatt and is keeping very busy with Girl Scouts. Her troop has been fundraising for the Big Apple in June 09. This is a wonderful opportunity for her and the 10 other girls that will be participating. I refuse to miss out myself, so I will tagging along. I see I am lacking in photos of Mallori so that is my mission, to take more. We'll see how I do.

Moorhead Meet

Finally, a few minutes to update this a bit. I have been slacking. I know the videos are a bit slow for some to load, luckily they are short. It wouldn't be the same to just take pictures, not to mention I'm not real good at catching any activity. Wyatt has had many meets in January, a few we weren't able to get to. The meets are typically on Tuesday or Thurday and have been 2 to 4 hours away. The season is coming to an end soon. Wyatt has an excellent shot of going to 8AA sections this year, we are told this is rare for a first year diver/swimmer, so it is exciting.

Anytime they have a meet they also have practice at 5:30 before school. Wyatt had tried this back flip/dive for the first time that morning and was very nervous when it came time at the meet. He had done so many backflops that morning he had a bruise on his back. At the meet was the first time he hadn't smacked, he was tickled.
